Protect our rights at the ballot
The Colorado House of
Representatives is set to adopt a proposal that would undermine the rights of
citizens at the ballot.
Senate Concurrent Resolution 3 (SCR 3) makes it
more difficult for grassroots organizations to run initiatives by making the
petition drive more difficult and expensive. These changes won’t stop big
moneyed special interests, but it will make it more difficult for grassroots
groups who rely on volunteers.
