Ms. Kelly started in 2010 as a fellow with CoPIRG. She has coordinated CoPIRG’s work to increase energy efficiency across Colorado. In 2011, she was the lead advocate for a state bill that would increase transparency around the energy efficiency of rental properties.
She has authored two reports on energy efficiency that detail ways for Colorado to improve statewide efficiency. Ms. Kelly’s expertise has led to numerous coverage in media from Denver to Grand Junction.
In 2011, Ms. Kelly co-coordinated a field campaign to generate in-depth feedback to the Colorado Health Benefits Exchange Board. In total, CoPIRG hosted over 50 forums and generated feedback from over 650 people from Lamar to Steamboat Springs.
Ms. Kelly is a 2010 graduate of DePauw University where she founded and led a group of students to research and advocate for environmental policies in the Indiana General Assembly.
